MORE SOFTWARE SUCCESS 7 years old and InvestorHub is already worth $34 million. Congrats then to ▲ Ben Williamson and Rhys Davis on their latest step forward. Shout out too to Ashley Baxter, founder of Monty Compost Co, another tech firm leaning heavily on both hardware and software. Can you see the elephant yet? Software is where it's at and just about every rapidly growing business is making it. We must start to acknowledge this at the most senior of levels. Our future quite literally depends on it! #MrSaaSSays - Bang, bang, bang goes my head against the wall https://lnkd.in/dvWWvKxX

🚀 We’re thrilled to announce that Flipturn has been recognized as one of the standout startups in The Clean Fight's latest accelerator program! 🌟 The Clean Fight is tackling the inefficiencies of the cold chain industry—a critical component of food transport, storage, and sales—with a focus on reducing carbon footprints and enhancing sustainability. As part of this initiative, Flipturn is proud to contribute our cutting-edge fleet management software, designed to optimize and decarbonize transportation for a more sustainable food supply chain. I'd like to announce our partnership with Rethink Ventures to help us accelerate Fleevo's mission! No more spreadsheets, PowerBI or in-house systems for integrations and analytics in commercial fleet operations. Commercial fleets 🚛 are the backbone of global logistics and are rapidly growing as fleetification reshapes industries. Yet many operators struggle to harness the full potential of fleet data. Fragmented systems—spreadsheets, PDFs, and siloed software—make it hard to extract insights. Limited resources and legacy systems that lack robust integration and AI-driven analytics, lead to inefficiencies and missed opportunities for fleets. Fleevo is set to change that, building a centralised system that streamlines fleet application integrations and delivers the critical insights fleets need 💡. With the recent funding from Rethink Ventures - specialist VC in mobility & logistics and Antler - one of the most active early-stage investors, We can move faster toward providing scalable solutions to fleet operators who need intelligent tools to make data-driven decisions. Thank you Jens-Philipp Klein, Matthias Schanze and the entire Rethink team for your partnership! Aidarbek Suleimenov, Yongjie Chen and I are very excited to go on this journey together.

Kicking Off VentureFuel: Getting Climate Innovations from 0 to 1 with Brock Mansfield! Last week, I launched the VentureFuel Speaker Series with the help of Stanford Founders and Stanford Energy Club featuring Brock Mansfield from Meliorate Partners, focused on “Getting Climate Innovations from 0 to 1.” Brock, with his deep experience backing ventures like Tidal Vision - which transforms seafood waste into Chitosan that has broad applications in water treatment, agriculture, and material science industries - shared a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to move climate tech from concept to scalable impact. He addressed foundational questions such as “How do you find the right team?”, “When is an idea ready for funding?”, and “What really grabs a VC’s attention?” One of Brock’s key insights touched on the often-overlooked side of venture capital: VCs are in the "No" business. Contrary to popular belief, VCs must say no to hundreds of pitches before saying yes to a few, which makes it crucial for founders to articulate not only the scope of their idea but also its real-world impact. Brock emphasized that successful startups have to solve hard-hitting, tangible problems - those that resonate deeply in the real world and bring solutions that are uniquely intelligent and feasible. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this kickoff! Through VentureFuel, we are building a unique platform where students and founders come together to exchange ideas, find the right co-founders, and gain invaluable insights from seasoned venture capital experts. Our goal is to bring the challenges and opportunities in climate tech to the forefront, sparking meaningful conversations that inspire action. As we continue this series, we are excited to dig deeper into the journey of climate innovation - from the initial spark of an idea to its transformative impact on industries and communities. This is just the beginning. Stay tuned for more sessions that will provide actionable insights, networking opportunities, and real-world perspectives on scaling solutions for a sustainable future. #VentureFuel #StanfordEnergy #ClimateTech #SustainableInnovation #ScalingSolutions #StanfordFounders #CleanEnergy #FutureOfSustainability
