If this person can't feel a sense of belonging or being a part of something without going to the office then he can crack on. Not sure why he's so adamant he knows how everyone else feels/operates. That wild assumption about pyjamas in the bedroom *eye roll*

Disagree. If we ask for everyone to come into the office, aren't we scaling back the pool of wonderful potential employees we can attract? Let's level the playing field and trust adults to get the job done.

Massive false dilemma fallacy there thinking that working from home consists of "sitting in your pyjamas in your bedroom". It's 2022, we have access to home office furniture and clean clothes, you know.

Why do we need to be in the same room 24/7 to feel connected and part of a team? Connection can take many forms, in person being just one of them. Think outside the box (room) how else can we create connection?

100% disagree! What have we learned from Covid and working remotely? We evolve. We found new ways to be relevant, innovative and constant. Closing a deal remotely was a big eye opening that anything was possible in the market I work. If you need a hug, I’ll be happy to see you at the office and give you a hug but I’m far more productive at home. I don’t need a sense of belonging, I need to be valued as an asset and recognized/compensated as an asset that brings value to the company I work for.

Honestly I Love working from home! Wouldn’t never accept another job that requires to go to the office!
