Here is what is happening: 🚔 Braking distance data collection: VTT is collecting data about braking distances in various road conditions from a speed of 70 km/h on both snow and dry asphalt. 🚗 Implementation of the Minimal Risk Manoeuvre (#MRM): VTT is also developing and testing the automated vehicle's MRM fallback function which can safely pull over the vehicle to a road shoulder if needed.
