The integrity of supply chains is everything when it comes to essential products and services in healthcare and pharmaceuticals – as there is a direct impact on human lives.   For example, it wasn’t long ago when the world witnessed how seemingly robust healthcare supply chains were stretched to their limits under the magnitude of the pandemic. For many months, access to medicines, vaccines, and diagnostics were severely strained – across geographies – giving rise to the risk of counterfeit, harmful, or contaminated drugs reaching patients.   To address such situations, traceability is among many counteractive legal measures adopted by governments and health authorities across the world. Traceability mandates that the movement of pharmaceutical products is tracked and documented throughout the entire supply chain – to improve transparency, safety, and accountability in the industry.   The U.S. Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) mandates manufacturers to improve traceability to ensure that medicines reach patients safely. SAP Information Collaboration Hub for #LifeSciences is designed to help meet these demands by streamlining the tracking process – and SAP’s #CustomerSupport helps address customer issues related to traceability.   This is the story of how SAP’s Built-In Support (https://lnkd.in/ep-B_mCS) helps provide direct, seamless assistance to life sciences companies and their partners: Enhancing Access and Compliance: How Built-In Support Transforms Life Sciences Supply Chain: https://lnkd.in/ecPfqDXC Becky Doyle, PHR Bente Vollan Bethany Moffatt Carsten Schwarz Cornelius Clauser Elma Gehlen Adams Jens Bernotat Karolin Laicher Marc Thier Mai Nguyen Mohammed M.
