How do you keep educating your team about AI? Invest your time to teach, demonstrate, and learn. This week, I was fired up to participate in a 90-minute ServiceNow AI Day, where we assembled leading experts to help our employees learn the latest. The program included a kickoff from CEO Bill McDermott, insights from an analyst, and a series of myth-busting questions and answers.   I joined Nick Tzitzon, Paul Fipps, and Michael Park to dispel some myths about AI, including business readiness. Here are the top three takeaways from our discussion and my recent visits with customers: ✅ Companies are at various stages of adopting AI. ✅ Companies farther along with AI are seeing ROI and planning to do more. ✅ Customers want/need to get to value fast. Full stop. ServiceNow, with our Now platform, is the orchestrator that makes that happen. With Project BaseCamp, we’re also creating a single destination for employees to search for and get support, news, events, tasks, and training — all highly personalized and relevant to them. In close partnership with our CIO Juan Perez, we’re just getting started. Partners co-selling AI products will become ServiceNow's “WOW FACTOR,” CEO Bill McDermott tells Wall Street. [On Weds, SN reported 3X deal size when customers buy its AI-focused Pro Plus product.] Scaling AI sales through “thousands and thousands and thousands” of partners is what's next. This exchange with Jeffries analyst Samad Samana is a master class in modern GTM. Watch/listen to it below. Samana asked how ServiceNow intends to scale its AI-driven sales to customers who haven’t yet “joined the [AI] party.” McDermott and CFO Gina Mastantuono strategy: 1. Acknowledge that many F1000 buyers are already “jaded” by “AI pretenders.” 2. Use existing customers winning with their AI products as references to open minds 3. Show the c-suite a roadmap for what’s next 4. Create a little FOMO and concern about losing key employees who want to embrace AI (vs fight it) 5. Lean into their ecosystem for “thousands and thousands and thousands of more feet-on-the-street, telling the same story.” NB: ServiceNow’s Q2 revenue grew 23% YoY BEFORE the partner “wow factor” kicks in.
