edept, an edtech startup focused on empowering universities to offer industry-led programs, has raised $1 million in seed funding led by Enzia Ventures and Equanimity Investments, with participation from Bhavin Pandya, Arjun Mohan, and Loyal VC. Founded in 2023 by Gaurv Bhatia, Puneet Saxena, CFA, and Devendra Nagle, edept aims to bridge the skills gap in high-demand careers by offering industry-tailored courses that enhance employability and prepare students for global job markets. The funding will help expand operations, scale the workforce, and enhance its tech platform. Within its first year, edept has partnered with seven institutions and impacted over 450 students.
