🌟 Portugal’s Startup Ecosystem Continues to Thrive! 🚀 Portugal has hit a new milestone in 2024, with 4,719 startups generating a combined revenue of €2.6 billion, according to the “Mapping Portugal’s Startup Landscape 2024” report by IDC, Informa D&B, and Startup Portugal. 📈 Growth Highlights: The number of startups grew by 16% compared to last year, showcasing Portugal’s fertile ground for innovation and entrepreneurship. The average monthly salary for startup employees increased by 17%, reaching nearly €2,000, which is 72% above the national average. Startups accounted for 1.4% of Portugal’s total exports in 2023. While 651 startups exited the ecosystem (due to closure, reaching over 10 years of operation, or becoming large companies), 1,297 new startups emerged – a strong sign of the sector’s dynamism.
