START Global is building the seeding ground for entrepreneurial talent. Our non-profit student initiative was established in 1996 at the University of St. Gallen. Since then, we have built a community of like-minded founders and entrepreneurial-minded individuals deeply embedded in Europe's startup ecosystem. Our organization hosts the annual START Summit x Hack, organizes the START Fellowship program, and connects entrepreneurial minds. Through these efforts, we aim to unleash the innovative potential of entrepreneurial ecosystems. Since 2016, START has been supported by the START Foundation and its advisory board, which includes ten distinguished Swiss entrepreneurs and investors, amongst others, Daniel Gutenberg, Urs Wietlisbach and Florian Schweitzer.

Inspired to inspire. Last night, I had the privilege of being part of a panel talk at the START Global Campus in St. Gallen, hosted by the students from the St. Gallen University. Sharing the stage with Carina Popovici and Luigi Altieri to discuss our entrepreneurial journeys, the challenges we’ve faced, and the bold decisions we’ve made was an incredible experience. What stood out most to me was the energy of the young people in the room—their openness, curiosity, and drive to learn. It was amazing to see how they resonated with our stories and ideas, and to witness their eagerness to step out of their comfort zones and consider founding startups of their own. Entrepreneurship isn’t easy at all. It requires boldness, resilience, and a willingness to take risks, even when the path ahead seems unclear. But last night reminded me of why I’m so passionate about sharing my journey—because every story has the power to inspire someone to take that first step. To everyone I met at START Global Campus: keep being bold, keep being curious, and don’t be afraid to chase big dreams. The world needs your ideas and your courage.
