The St Martin's Group’s Post

At this year’s Labour Conference, the Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, announced major reforms to the apprenticeship system during his speech. Some of the key changes announced include: 🏗️ Re-introducing foundation apprenticeships, which will provide opportunities for young people to enter into critical sectors, enabling to earn & learn. 🕒 Announcing that the new growth and skills levy will allow funding for shorter apprenticeships, increasing the flexibility so they do not need to run for 12 months. 💰 The changes will also mean that businesses will fund more of their level 7 (master’s level) apprenticeships outside of the levy. https://bit.ly/3XAMK7X #skills #skillsforlife #skillsforthefuture #apprenticeships #FE #FurtherEducation #conference #labourconference #labourconference24 #earnandlearn #workforcedevelopment #apprenticeshipreform
