The Wolf of Wall Street's 3x10's strategy.. Basically you have 3 buckets and you need to fill each of them to a 10/10 belief for the prospect and you'll have a guaranteed purchase. They are: 1. They need to trust you, the person selling them. Especially important in-person like when you're going D2D (which is also a great way to learn to be trustworthy). 2. They need to be able to trust the company and brand name. Nobody would be buying any tickets to Fire Festival 2!! 3. They need to believe the product you're selling them will deliver on it's promise. Even great companies and brands put out some terrible products sometimes, which is why this is a separate bucket. Get as close to this as possible and watch your closing rate skyrocket 🚀 #businesstips #salesstrategy #jordanbelfort #reels

Do you think Further Point is planning on reopening all of the Foxtrot locations? If so, as the article states, how will the acquire staff as many would probably not want to come back due to a lack of trust. Will be interesting to see this play out! #Foxtrot #bankruptcy #grocerychain

The “Granny Stitch” is one of the oldest crochet patterns/stitches. It was never really my go-to stitch but I think time has made it top on my nonexistent list of crochet stitches (because I love ‘em all). I believe time has set me well on my way to become another Granny with a Stitch and I’m just flowing with it. #crochet #crochetbusiness #business #selfownedbusiness

Here are some funny and interesting facts about self-storage. Odd Items Stored. People have stored some bizarre items in self-storage units, including a 10-foot-tall Egyptian sarcophagus, a human skeleton (for educational purposes), and even a fully functional car that a customer forgot they owned. Reality TV Fame. The popularity of self-storage surged thanks to reality TV shows like "Storage Wars," where abandoned units are auctioned off to bidders hoping to find treasure among the junk. Booming Industry. The self-storage industry in the U.S. generates more revenue than the entire U.S. music industry, with annual revenues over $39 billion. Guinness World Records. The smallest self-storage unit on record is just 1 cubic foot, designed to store a single item like a piece of jewelry. Seasonal Surge. There is a noticeable increase in the demand for storage units right after major holidays and before the start of school terms, as people look to declutter or store seasonal items. Creative Uses. Some people have turned their storage units into unconventional spaces, such as personal gyms, artist studios, or even mini film studios. Famous Tenants. Several celebrities use self-storage units for their personal belongings. For instance, Paris Hilton once forgot about a storage unit filled with personal items, which was subsequently auctioned off and some items ended up online. Millionaire Owners. One in every ten Americans rents a self-storage unit, and some of these renters include millionaires who need extra space for their collections of art, cars, or wine. In today's episode of 'Things That Will Make You Question Everything About Your Pricing Strategy': someone just paid $6.2 million for a banana duct-taped to a wall at Sotheby's Not a gold-plated banana. Not a banana made of diamonds. Just a regular banana that cost 35 cents at the shop, stuck to a wall with some tape. But wait, it gets better. This banana has actually been eaten. Twice. By different people. Once by a performance artist at Art Basel Miami, and again by a student at a museum in Seoul. And what happened after each incident? They just... put up a new banana. And people are still paying millions for it. Now, I can hear you thinking: "That's ridiculous! Who would pay that much for a banana?" But that's exactly the point. Value isn't about the material cost - it's about perception, context, and confidence. Meanwhile, many of us are sitting here with actual expertise, proven results, and years of experience, worrying whether our prices are "too high." We second-guess ourselves, worry about what people will think, and fret about whether anyone will be able to pay for our product/services. So let me be really clear about this: If someone can confidently sell a replaceable banana for $6.2 million, you can absolutely price your offerings at a level that reflects the true value you provide. Your expertise isn't replaceable with a quick trip to the grocery store. Stop questioning whether there's a market for your premium offerings. The market exists. The money exists. The real questions you should be asking are: Am I showing up with unwavering confidence? And more importantly - Am I positioning myself where my ideal clients actually hang out? After all, this artist isn't trying to sell his banana at local craft fairs - he's at Sotheby's. Next time you catch yourself hesitating about your prices, remember the $6.2 million banana. Then go forth and price your offerings like someone who knows exactly what they're worth. #BusinessGrowth #PricingStrategy #Mindset #ThisIsBananas #GoingBananas #NotMonkeyingAround #TopBanana #BananaDrama

7 Most Valuable Mego Action Figures Straight Out of the 1970s. Break out your metal lunchboxes and thermoses because we’ve got some iconic Mego action figures that’ll send you right back to the 1970s. The Super Friends to Mego action figure pipeline was a super short one in the 1970s. Unsurprisingly, these tiny kids’ toys are massively popular with collectors today. So, grab your comic books and sci-fi films, because we’re rummaging through your toy boxes for the most valuable vintage Mego action figures on the market. The 1970s was the wild wild west of action figure production. Between Kenner and Mego, practically every media franchise was snatched up and shrunk down into shelf-sized toys for kids to buy. While most people know Kenner for its rare Star Wars merchandise, you’ve probably heard about Mego if you’re a big superhero fan.
