Professor / Creator (2m+ following) / Podcast Host

I have one social media prediction for the next few years that I am fairly confident about. While I agree that people will attempt (and succeed) to replace 90% of the generic trending content you see in short form today with AI. Audiences will respond by seeking out realness wherever they can find it to connect to. Personality-based creators who also make long form content like podcasts (people like Hank Green, Elyse Myers, and Drew Afualo) will have their popularity continue to skyrocket to new highs because people know they are actual people speaking to us. I also think it will make breaking into the industry as a new creator even more difficult because people will suspect they are Al and it will be harder to just seemingly appear out of nowhere, like many of us did over the past few years, without people being suspicious. So my advice to any creators right now that want to do this long term is to lean away from trends and faceless generic content and to really work on your storytelling while you still have a chance. Make your content something that AI can’t ever be — human.

Agree, even as I see "realness" being redefined, ongoingly.
