Driving Growth in the Energy Sector | Content Producer | Market Insider | AI Enthusiast | "Pai Coruja" | Inviting you to think differently, better, and beyond 🌎
This should be no news at this point anymore, but I could not pass it on. TechnipFMC has been awarded a significant contract for the #Whiptail project in Guyana’s Stabroek Block by ExxonMobil. 👀 $500 million and $1 billion - Yeah, you just got it right! The SOW includes the supply of subsea production systems. Under this contract, TechnipFMC will provide 48 subsea trees and associated tooling, 12 manifolds, controls, and tie-in equipment. Not to mention that the company will also handle project management, engineering, and manufacturing. The #Whiptail project marks a continuation of the relationship between TechnipFMC and ExxonMobil Guyana, which began with the first contract award in 2017 for the Liza Phase 1. #TechnipFMC, which currently employs nearly 140 Guyanese, expects to hire and train more local staff to support this new contract. The award will be included in TechnipFMC’s inbound orders for the second quarter of 2024. Congrats to all my friends in TechnipFMC. Time goes...
