Put simply, it’s when the THC or CBD-containing emulsion adheres to the sprayed on internal coating of the can, stripping it from the rest of the liquid and preventing consumption of this key ingredient by the consumer. We found that the specialized coating process of our aTULC cans prevents this from happening. Is CBD illegal in Massachusetts? Not necessarily, says the Massachusetts Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission. On May 29th, the commission released a statement banning the sale of all CBD/THC-infused food and drinks for non-licensed vendors. The statement, deemed vague and confusing by many, was quickly amended: the Alcholohic Control Commission clarified, "This Advisory does not apply to marijuana products manufactured under the jurisdiction of the Cannabis Control Commission." In short, CBD/THC-infused food and drinks are still legal in Massachusetts, as long as the products are sold by a licensed dispensary. Many, like Ryan Dominguez, head of the Massachusets Cannabis Coalition, claim this is a good thing for the industry: “This is a big win for both the cannabis and the hemp industry, specifically those who are licensed by the CCC and MDAR. This is a step in the right direction for us to be able to now enforce what was already on the books so there’s no kind of gray area.” What do you think of Masachusets' bold move? After attending CHAMPS last week, it feels like something should be done to regulate this free-for-all… THCa and Delta companies offering out free samples that were pitched to me as a “replacement to your pain pills” was dumbfounding to me. What are your thoughts on the companies offering these products? Am I wrong, or don’t all of them become an afterthought quickly once THC is actually legalized in a market? Is there big profit in these THC off-shoots in the legal markets? Is it worth keeping these derivatives available for consumption for some reason? Or don’t they seem harmful to the end consumer? Please educate me. As a “pot snob” I can’t say that I’ve ever enjoyed combusting or eating any of these products even remotely as much as cannabis. So please, tell me I’m wrong by giving me a good reason.
