For the UK this finding from IDP Education Ltd’s Emerging Futures 6 is worrying & frustrating. In 2019 Universities UK #research identified that just 2% of #internationalgraduates said their university #careersservice “helpers them find a job.” Then in 2022 Asia Careers Group SDN BHD provided evidence on #graduate #employability to the UPP Foundation’s #internationalstudent sub-committee, highlighting the need for improved Non-EU #graduateoutcomes data & employability support for #inrernationalstudents. in 2024 just 3% of #internationalgraduates said their #university #careers service helped them find a job, the sector moved the dial just 1% in five years. This is not for lack of effort but for lack of investment in Non-EU outcomes & destinations to empower universities careers professionals to effectively support international students successfully transition to careers back in their home countries.
