At Computex Taiwan 2024, Intel Corporation's CEO Pat Gelsinger emphasized Intel's readiness for the "AI PC Moment" by showcasing the performance, power efficiency, and cost advantages of Intel's architectures and products compared to competitors. Gelsinger highlighted Intel's unique position in servicing 100% of the AI continuum, from semiconductors to services and products. Exploring Intel Corporation’s refreshed strategies to deal with its competitors 🚀 Gaudi 3 and expanded OEM ecosystem At #RHSummit, Jeni Barovian Panhorst tells #theCUBE about the chipmaker’s efforts to curb rapidly rising competition: Gaudi 3’s exceptional range, expanded OEM ecosystem, and an extensive product line. “Gaudi 3 is a third generation architecture, so by comparison to the prior generation of Gaudi, it's bringing 4X the computing capability, 2X the networking performance, and 1.5X the memory bandwidth. It is very competitive vs other solutions in both raw performance and performance per dollar for cost-effectiveness,” shares Barovian. “We're expanding the OEM ecosystem. All of the four major OEMs across Dell Technologies, HP, Supermicro, Lenovo, all announced that they would be in the market with solutions with Gaudi 3 when we bring it to market later this year in the second half. Broadcom may be betting the rumored delay of #ConnectX-8 800G NIC signals NVIDIA focusing development on the #SuperNIC / #DPU #BlueField which competes with Marvell Technology, AMD, and Intel Corporation. No one else has announced a 400G bare bones NIC. Regardless, Broadcom doesn't support businesses that are #2 in the market, and it may be the first time Broadcom is clearly behind a competitor that is bigger and stronger.
