Culture isn’t just a cup of coffee you serve, expecting people to drink and let it spread. Culture is the coffee you choose—Arabica or Robusta or any other 🫘 bean—each with its own distinct flavor. The culture your workplace adopts depends on the blend you select and the ingredients you allow to take center stage. Like coffee, culture is created with intention. The stories you share, the values you promote, and the behaviors you encourage are the key ingredients in shaping your workplace culture. When leaders share stories of hope, inspiration, and success, they build a culture that energizes and uplifts everyone. Now, imagine a leader who shares stories of teamwork and achievement, highlighting how challenges were overcome to achieve goals. These stories are like a smooth Arabica blend—rich, energizing, and leaving people motivated. But if the stories focus on blame, failure, or negativity, it’s like serving bitter coffee—hard to drink and draining for most. While it’s true that some people enjoy bitter coffee, research shows that consuming it regularly can numb the taste buds and even harm gut health seriously. The stories you tell as a leader set the tone for your workplace. Do you want to create a culture that inspires and motivates, or one that leaves a bad taste behind? As a leader, you hold the power to shape the narrative and craft a blend that energizes and unites your team. So, think carefully before sharing your stories because that shapes culture. Culture isn’t built by chance; it’s created with purpose, one cup at a time. #cupofcoffee #Coffee #Coffeeculture #culture #OB #Leaders #Leadership

Absolutely love this analogy! Culture is so much more than just something we 'serve.' It’s a purposeful blend of stories, values, and actions. Leaders have such a crucial role in shaping a culture that fuels positivity and growth.

What a great analogy! Creating culture is a lot like Manifesting.. It all boils down to positive and negative reinforcements.. what you encourage and work towards more is what becomes the reality:)

Beautiful analogy, Shikha Mittal! Just like the coffee we choose, the culture we create in our workplaces is shaped by the stories we tell and the values we promote.

A leader has to set up an example by building up a work culture which is empowering. Nice insights.

Interesting analogy. Thank you for sharing it’s all about what organization serves. ❤️
