Lisa Su has made history as the first woman ever named TIME CEO of the Year. In 2020, she also broke barriers by becoming the highest-paid CEO globally, a testament to her groundbreaking leadership in the male-dominated tech industry. Under her guidance, AMD has flourished, challenging industry giants and driving innovation in high-performance computing and AI. Su’s achievements not only highlight her strategic brilliance but also pave the way for more women in tech!
SMASH! Love that more women are being recognized for how hard they had to fight to get through that glass ceiling. I hope that this sets a positive example for all the younger women in the workforce that they can keep going and it IS possible! Not easy, but possible!
What is the nature of her work-life balance? Did she ever leave her career to raise offspring, for example?
As an AMD employee and a fan of The Female Quotient, I love to see you recognizing our amazing leader!
Great news. 📰 and good news. 👍 For the opposite: I just read this negative news here on LinkedIn: “For the first time in 20 years, there will be no women leading House committees. Not one.” 😏 Published by Vanessa Jupe
Lisa Su’s success is a win for women everywhere. Leadership knows no gender!
It's amazing to see her recognized as an inspiring role model for women everywhere. This is a short video worth a watch where she is interviewed and shares about AI, her favorite apps, and more https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=02LF5npKKFc
And this woman is of Asian origin 🩷

1dWOW! I'm speechless about just finding out about this. I'm not that big fan of the tech world, but my first ever laptop was a Huawei with Ryzen 5. I was starstruck by the idea of having a tool that was so fast and worked to my needs. This year, my partner and I invested a considerable amount of money because we knew AMD had great products and so far they are great. I am more than happy to know that this success is because of a great woman leading the way. WOW!
