Example: When natives are listening and active they say “I’m all ears!” This is their way of saying it! 𝟱. 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱: I recently audited the website of a spiritual coach and she had bulks of text on her page. It confused the audience and "𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫." “Talk to your clients’’—I used to write entire posts urging people to do this. But I don’t anymore, and here’s why… Talking to your clients isn’t the goal. It’s a way to clarify the strategy and words you need to reach your goal. But the goal has to come first, and the more specific the better. Because the goal shapes the entire conversation. Is your goal to… → Add another marketing channel to the mix? → Figure out what your paid ads for your new health program should say? → Increase sign-ups to your free masterclass, because most of your program participants come from there? → Boost conversion rates from your free webinar to your health program? → Attract more right-fit clients to subscribe to your newsletter? Each of these goals will lead to you asking entirely different questions during client conversations. Without a clear focus, your client interviews can become a huge time suck. And the insights you spent so much time gathering can wind up gathering dust instead of moving your business forward.  So from now on when I mention interviewing your clients, it will be tied to a specific goal. Just like I do when talking to my clients during strategy calls.
