Unmet social needs could increase risk of costly surgical complications by 2-3x in some circumstances. Assessing and addressing SDOH factors is thus becoming mandatory under a variety of VBC payment models and episodic bundled payments. RevelAi Health's use of LLM-powered voice AI for specialty care management, social needs screening and closed loop social referrals with integration with Findhelp is delightfully seamless and groundbreaking at the same time - with far reaching applications. Very proud to share this simple demo and contribute to this work pioneered by Christian Pean M.D., M.S. and Hadi Javeed.

With the election behind us, questions in what changes will come over the next decade for health policy remain. But one thing is certain: value-based care and the move toward population health are here to stay. And with them, the drive to reshape healthcare for both better, more equitable patient outcomes and a more fulfilling clinician experience persists. The TEAM model and new CMS requirements highlight this shift. Hospitals and ASCs are now mandated to screen for social needs—yet the question remains: what’s next? How does this not add yet another documentation burden to clinical staff? How can these insights be turned into meaningful support that improves patient outcomes? Excited to be building these solutions and more with Hadi Javeed. With RevelAi Health’s LLM-powered voice AI and seamless integration with Findhelp, we’re closing this critical gap, creating a bridge between clinical and social needs. Our solution enables closed-loop referrals that turn compliance into transformation, supporting patients as whole individuals. See our product in action in this quick demo below. Interested in learning more about how we’re automating clinical workflows and elevating care navigation with AI? Let’s explore how we can partner to drive real impact in proactive, whole-person care. Real stories. Real people. Real awareness. There’s nothing I love more than telling these types of powerful stories in healthcare. Sometimes we get so hung up on highly produced content (which of course has its place!), and forget the impact we can have by simply creating authentic content that tells the stories of the lives we touch. After all, these are the reasons why we’re all so passionate and proud to work in this industry. Thank you Victor for sharing your inspiring story, and to Ada Health for making these stories possible 🫶🏼 #medicalAI #digitalhealth #MyAdaStory #healthcaremarketing #storytelling #MSawareness
At Ada, we help people understand and get care for their symptoms with trusted medical expertise in minutes. Our medical AI covers more than 10,000 symptoms, 3,600 condition models, and 31,000 ICD-10 codes and plays a crucial role in the detection of conditions like multiple sclerosis. In our second video of the #MyAdaStory series, we’re honored to feature Víctor Bosch 🎬. Victor’s story began when he used Ada to identify the sudden numbness he experienced in his arm one Sunday evening. Initially, he thought of waiting until the next day, but Ada suggested his symptoms required more urgent attention. Victor immediately went to the hospital and eventually received confirmation of the condition. 💡Victor's experience is a powerful reminder: health is often unpredictable and the surface often hides unseen challenges. Access to accurate and actionable health information is a crucial part of seeking care. 👇Learn more about Victor’s inspiring journey below. #MyAdaStory isn’t just about sharing experiences, it’s about fostering a sense of community. "We're going from paper to AI." – Danny Gladden Kevin Wiese of BestSelf Behavioral Health and Danny Gladden, LCSW, MBA, of Oracle discuss digital transformation in behavioral health. Outdated methods like paper, fax, and phone calls still dominate referrals and care coordination, creating barriers to effective care—especially for vulnerable patients at risk of opioid overdose. As behavioral health providers embrace digital transformation, they’re adopting advanced tech and AI to streamline operations and improve patient outcomes. #CHIME25 #behavioralhealth #digitaltransformation CHIME Digital Health Insights

Suicide has been rising in the US for a generation and is estimated to claim the lives of 14 in 100,000 Americans yearly. It is the nation’s 10th leading cause of death! Nationally, some 8.5% of suicide attempts end in death. Can we do something about this? Indeed yes! Vanderbilt University Medical Center recently worked on an AI algorithm with face-to-face screening that predicts suicide attempts! How? The new study focused on 120,398 patient visits over 15 months concluding in September 2020. Health records were reviewed for every encounter in which both risk assessment methods were used. They created a risk scoring scale to measure risks called Vanderbilt Suicide Attempt and Ideation Likelihood, or VSAIL. How does it work? The algorithm runs silently in the background, generating risk scores for every patient encounter based on EHR. Next move? To conduct a randomized clinical trial at VUMC of the artificial intelligence algorithm for outpatient clinical decision support. In a random half of visits, high-risk scores per VSAIL will automatically trigger an electronic health record alert for clinicians. It will further recommend face-to-face screening for suicide risk. Interesting right? Can we leverage AI and ML for other mental health issues as well? Share your views in the comments.
