"Why do so many talented candidates face rejection just because of 'skills'? It’s a question we should all consider. Skills are essential, but they’re also teachable. Many companies overlook candidates who may not meet every skill requirement yet bring a unique perspective, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn. These are qualities that often outshine specific technical skills in the long run. Often, what truly matters is a candidate's attitude, adaptability, and problem-solving approach. The right candidate with a growth mindset can quickly pick up technical skills, but a skilled candidate with a poor attitude can disrupt team dynamics and hinder progress. As hiring managers and recruiters, let’s look beyond rigid checklists. A well-rounded, passionate candidate may not tick every box today, but they could very well become an invaluable asset tomorrow. Skills can be learned; character and potential are priceless. Let’s start hiring for potential, not just skills. #Hiring #CareerGrowth #LinkedInCommunity #MindsetMatters #HiringForPotential" JOIN US ON OUR WHATSAPP GROUP https://lnkd.in/gC4UDahh

𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐧'𝐭 𝐦𝐞𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬? My family and I recently visited The Grove for afternoon tea. While we were all impressed by the 𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 and 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 my Brother-in-law was left a little 'deflated' (𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘶𝘯) Why? He thought the hot air balloon was actually going to fly 😂 I must express that this was no fault of The Grove's (we all HIGHLY recommend this experience!)... It was the communication on the family Whatsapp Group 𝙼𝚄𝙼: 𝚆𝚘𝚞𝚕𝚍 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚕𝚒𝚔𝚎 𝚝𝚘 𝚐𝚘 𝚏𝚘𝚛 𝚊𝚏𝚝𝚎𝚛𝚗𝚘𝚘𝚗 𝚝𝚎𝚊 𝚒𝚗 𝚊 𝚑𝚘𝚝 𝚊𝚒𝚛 𝚋𝚊𝚕𝚕𝚘𝚘𝚗? 𝙱𝚛𝚘: 𝚈𝚎𝚜! We laughed together about this after because the thought of actually trying to sip hot tea, bubbles & munch on cakes at 1000ft is quite ridiculous As a recruiter I often hear clients or candidates speaking about how their expectations haven't been met by agencies... And 99% of the time the reason why comes down to communication My solution? It's simple and is just 5 key points: 1. 𝑴𝒆𝒆𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐 𝒓𝒆𝒈𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒂 𝒏𝒆𝒘 𝒓𝒐𝒍𝒆: Meet the hiring manager to get a clear understanding of the role, requirements and team fit. 2. 𝑪𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒓 𝑱𝒐𝒃 𝑫𝒆𝒔𝒄𝒓𝒊𝒑𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏: Ensure roles and expectations are well-defined to attract the right candidates. 3. 𝑻𝒊𝒎𝒆𝒍𝒚 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒑𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒆: Keep candidates and clients informed at every stage, from application process to interview feedback. 4. 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒔: Be honest if there are any hurdles in the process and work together to find a solution. I will always prioritise clear and open communication to ensure a smooth and successful recruitment journey. 🚀👥 If you have been miss-sold a recruitment experience and want to try something new - please get in contact! 01442 531 159 [email protected] Think Specialist Recruitment #recruitment #watfordjobs #hertfordshirejobs

🚨 "I am interested" 🚨 It won't land you a real job. It's crucial to understand the difference between Fake job post and real opportunities: ✅ Real job vacancies have a proper application link. ✅ Real recruiters won't ask you to join their WhatsApp community. ✅ Real job openings NEVER require an application Fee. ✅ Real recruiters don’t post fancy, Instagram-worthy photos to lure candidates. IFYKYK 😁 Real recruiters are busy actively sourcing candidates through professional networks and tools. They don't have time to waste on gimmicks. Please understand that "liking" or "commenting" their post will only bring them more followers and help them gain popularity for no reason. And you only get a false Hope. #HiringTruths #Recruitment #JobSearchTips #NoGimmicks #HR #recruiter #hiring #jobopening #alert #fakehiring #job

Greetings, LinkedIn community I wanted to discuss my recent experience with a company where I was selected to work as a counselor. The hiring process involved three rounds of interviews: written, phone, and video. Despite joining their WhatsApp group, I haven't received any updates from them in the past ten to twelve days. This situation has not only wasted my time but has also exploited the emotions of those genuinely struggling to find employment in this industry. I feel compelled to share my experience to shed light on companies that lack ethical considerations. It's essential to thoroughly research and inquire about a company before applying for a position. Throughout this ordeal, I've come across many promising opportunities but have chosen not to pursue them just because of professional ethics( as i was already selected in some other organisation ) It's the question of your career so, please choose wisely from company culture to everything wherever you will work. #LinkedIn #JobSearch #InterviewExperience #EthicalEmployment #Transparency #CompanyCulture #ProfessionalEthics #EmploymentStandards

What is Primera doing? After months of waiting, the selected candidates finally got a call from HR asking if they were still available to join. They assured them the joining process would start soon and even held a job orientation online. However, no offer letters were issued—they just kept saying, “You’ll receive them soon.” Then, they claimed they needed more candidates and would start the onboarding process for both new and old hires together. Last week, they deleted the WhatsApp group and said future communication would be over the phone. Is this company is selling false hopes to candidates? We need answers now. It’s been too long, and this is too much to bear! #JobScam #Recruitment #MedicalCoding #CandidatesDeserveBetter PrimEra Medical Technologies Sridevi Menon Manohar Vuyyala MBA,LLB Sujata Singh Bhargava Gourabh Mukherji Ramesh Arravalli

I don't want to frame this with my own thoughts not to bias anyone one way or the other. This was posted on a WhatsApp group for job referrals, and I'd like to hear what both applicants and hiring managers would say in response. "as a hiring manager, I need to say that the people I reject along the way typically fit into one of two categories: 1 - Poorly written/constructed CV (especially one that contradicts itself) 2 - A perceived negative attitude/approach at any point in the process" #jobseekers #resumes #attitude

Dear Connections, The latest job updates compiled for the month of April is attached below. To those who are done with their MBA and yet to get the job - I would request you not to loose hope. It may seem like endless period but you never know when your luck will align and one fine random day, you'll have an offer letter in your hand. One advice - Some of the job openings may seem unsuitable to you, some may say they are only for CAs or only for Experienced professionals, I would say apply for that job anyway, you never know which of your CV point may click the recruiter and you get that valuable shortlist. To other people reading this - help this to get enough reach so that it can reach to the right people and maximum people. Join the WhatsApp group to receive the realtime job updates on a daily/weekly basis. Just had an experience with a recruiter reaching out via WhatsApp, and the excessive use of question marks and exclamation marks felt unprofessional. As a job seeker, it's important for recruiters to maintain a professional image, especially during initial contact. While WhatsApp is great for coordination, it should be used respectfully when requesting details. It's important to remember that recruiters' communication style not only reflects on them but also impacts the company's image. Being mindful and professional in interactions with potential hires is key. How recruiters approach candidates can shape their perception of the company. Let's ensure that all interactions uphold a positive image. #Professionalism #RecruitmentEtiquette #HiringPractices

Few days ago, I sent a rejection email to a candidate who had interviewed for an open position. Shortly afterwards, I received a WhatsApp message from him: "Sir, you can’t say I am ‘rejected’… Please say ‘not selected.’" That day, I learned how words can impact people deeply. Instead of saying "rejected," we can say "not selected" to show more empathy and respect. Small changes in our communication can make a big difference. PS: Use words you would not mind to hear for yourself too..... #copied #HR_language #work_environment #bekind
