Interested to know how we approach partnerships at Shippit? As I mark my one-year milestone with Shippit (🎂 woo hoo!), building our partner ecosystem has been my top priority. From day one, I've adhered to two foundational principles: 1/ Be valuable to partners 2/ Be easy to work with Yeah, that’s really it. It's a deceptively simple framework that can be surprisingly hard to execute properly. Nevertheless, if you do these two things well, you really can’t fail. The key is understanding what ‘value’ and ‘effort’ looks like from your partner's point of view. At Shippit, we've gone through the work to identify where and how we can offer the most value to our partners, and tried to make it easy for them to leverage that when they need it. Spoiler alert: The value doesn’t come from chasing each other for leads. (Let’s be honest - it’s never that.) Our value to partners comes from giving them access to expertise they don’t have in logistics and fulfilment. Interested? Ever since I started at Partner Fleet a year ago, I've jumped in the deep end talking and writing constantly about the benefits of integrations — benefits to sales teams, customers, your business, basically everybody involved.
