Let's be real: LinkedIn ads still won't work for a lot of companies even if in B2B. Yes, in the past 5 years the platform's user-base has gone from 643M to 1B+, but only 48.5% log in monthly, and just 16.2% do so daily (and that's in the US) – according to Demandsage 2.0, who gets their data from LinkedIn itself, among others. This reflects a somewhat harsh reality for a lot of advertisers: there's a high chance your ICP won't be active enough for you to reap great results from your campaign. How can you mitigate this? Leveraging other ad platforms. Google and Meta are the go-to, but you may find great synergies with Microsoft ads, Reddit, TikTok, or even podcast ads. Either way, if there's one thing to take away from this post, is that there's no such thing as a one-size-fits-all solution to advertising. If you want your campaigns to work, you better know your target market first-handedly – or else you'll have a hard time reaching them with enough frequency. #linkedinads #googleads #retargetingads #campaignmanagement ------------------------------------------- P.S. 3 Reasons Why Your B2B Video Ads Aren’t Working (And How to Fix Them) Video ads can be a game-changer in B2B marketing—when done right. But even the best-intentioned ads sometimes fall flat. Here are 3 common mistakes B2B marketers make with video ads, and how to fix them: 1. Weak Hook: A powerful hook is essential. If your audience isn’t stopping within the first 3 seconds, your hook isn’t doing its job. Check out my post on the types of hooks we use for our clients for inspiration. 2. Lack of Personalization: Targeting everyone leads to wasted views. Speak directly to your Ideal Client Persona (ICP) with tailored messaging—use a specific angle that resonates with their needs. 3. No Clear CTA (Call-to-Action): You’ve grabbed their attention—now what? Your video needs a clear, compelling CTA to convert views into actions. Tell your audience exactly what to do next. If I had to start demand gen via paid media from scratch, I would do the following: 👉 Find one channel where your potential prospects hang out the most and that’s your paid distribution channel. 👉 Segment your ICP fit cold account book by persona level, run ads catering to the persona's use case to pique their interest. 👉Capture ad engagement and segment accounts by account level engagement. 👉Build a repository of ad touch points, that completely educate prospects inside and out about the product, across the accounts with multiple engagement levels. The list of ad touch points all put together is equivalent to the entire website content. Distribute ad touch points based on where they fit in across the funnel. 👉 Optimise campaigns for in-feed consumption. 👉 Meanwhile, try finding out buying triggers from the entire account book. Hyper segment the account book based on buying intent signals and run personalized campaigns to convert them. 👉 When you start noticing target accounts scheduling meetings through direct traffic, organic search, referrals, word of mouth or any other source, it's a sign that this approach is working out. Keep educating till your prospects convert. Simultaneously, look for account's buying intent trigger to convert them. This is what we do at RevenueHero. #demandgeneration #b2bmarketing #demandgen #paidmedia #saas

Is social media marketing better for B2C or B2B businesses? It’s important for both, but in different ways. While B2C businesses can focus on more light-hearted, fun social media posts, B2B businesses need to use social media to share valuable B2B content marketing. As a tool for connecting a business with its customers, however, social media is vital to both. #socialmediamarketing #customersatisfaction #facebook #facebookpost #facebookpage #b2bmarketing #b2cmarketing
