Book Talk: The Maverick Effect! Looking back at the 75 years of India's independence, we see that India has made significant progress in many fields, like the space program, nuclear technology, railways, and public digital infrastructure, to name a few. However, due to the media's negligence and the sparkle of foreign achievements, our achievements have yet to come into focus. India has achieved remarkable progress in numerous fields, which we should be proud of as Indians. When appreciating India's achievements, it's important to remember factors such as the country's vastness, the diversity of its people, economic status, literacy rate, availability of resources, etc. We have achieved these milestones in the years following India's independence. Today, the entire world recognizes India as a leader in these fields. In this book talk, I will discuss one such success story of the Indian IT Sector, nasscom, and the architects behind such success. As Indians, our extraordinary identity is being a global IT hub. It has not only provided India with a new identity but has also significantly enriched it economically. Today, several successful Indian IT companies have made their mark on the world map and carved out their unique identities. Today, India and IT have almost become synonymous. The story of India's IT from the 1970s to the present has been like a roller coaster ride. Now, Indian IT companies are not just focusing on services but are also carving out a niche for themselves in products. In this book, we will enjoy the story of our IT Sector and nasscom through the eyes of the author, Shri Harish Mehta. Thank you, Harish Mehta Sir, for writing this excellent book. I love the way you have narrated the stories. I am presenting a part of this book in a book club named "Sodhak,", especially in Gujarati; I hope to bring this book to a few more readers.
