India's rich culture is known for its vibrant and diverse art forms. Each part of the country has its own unique art, but sadly, because of time, we are slowly losing some of it. Here are four art forms facing extinction today: 1. #Manjusha Painting Manjusha painting, India's only sequential art form. Each panel in these intricate scrolls unveils a narrative, offering a captivating glimpse into the past. Sadly, by the 20th century, this vibrant art form began to fade, and today, its future hangs precariously in the balance. 2. Rogan Painting Gujarat's Rogan paintings, with their Persian roots, are a stunning ode to nature. Rogan's intricate beauty, however, came at a cost. Its high price tag and the laborious process led #artisans to seek other avenues, leaving this unique art form teetering on the edge of oblivion. 3. Puppetry Kathputli, the art of #storytelling through miniature puppets, has captivated audiences for over 3000 years. Yet, the rise of modern entertainment has overshadowed this ancient art, threatening to silence its heartwarming narratives. 4. Parsi Embroidery The Parsi community has gifted India the exquisite art of Parsi embroidery. But the meticulous nature of this art form, demanding immense patience and skill, makes it a challenge to pass down to future generations, leading to a decline in its popularity. These four art forms are just a glimpse into the treasures India stands to lose. Preserving them requires not just awareness but also active efforts to revive and celebrate their unique beauty. #IndianArt #Heritage #TraditionalArt #THC #SupportArtisans #India
