🧠 𝑰𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒆𝒘 𝑬𝒙𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑾𝒆𝒍𝒍𝑫𝒆𝒗 I've recently interviewed with WellDev for 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐟𝐭𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫 (𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐅𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧) position. Unfortunately, I was kicked out from the 2nd technical round. I've shared all the questions that I faced in their three rounds (MCQ, 1st Technical, and 2nd Technical). However, they have another round which is called the CTO or COO round before confirming a candidate for that position. I've written a blog featuring all the questions and uploaded a PDF of the MCQ round, which I think will be helpful for future candidates. 🎭 Sharing the rejection experiences may help others as well ☹ ✍ 𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐠 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐤:

I am curious to know why did you feel the questions were unconventional for a fresher? I found most of the questions that were asked in the 2nd round were easy and any fresh graduate should have at least a basic idea on these topics. But yeah, there were some advanced questions, and I agree on that, but as an ex-interviewer of Welldev I can say, we never expect any candidate to be able to answer them all. I don't think we should judge so early. You know what, you might feel the questions were unconventiona but Welldev will definitely hire people for the same position who can handle those unconventional questions.

Hello Salman! I am sad to learn about your rejection. But your effort to let others help is very thoughtful. I am maintaining an archive of questions asked in interviews in Bangladeshi tech companies. Would you like to contribute your experience here? Brother I was kicked out from the COO round 😤 They give you to solve a coin change problem. (spoiler: it needs to be solved using greedy approach, but I did it with DP)

Those questions are a bit too much for a trainee position. For example, asking questions regarding hashing and salting secrets. If a candidate already knows all the advanced topics then they’re not a trainee.
