What Is Pizza Napoletana? This is the most widely reproduced or copied of all pizza types. Authentic Pizza Napoletana is known for being very tender, light, and moist at the same time. It cooks for only 90 seconds in an 800F degree oven and needs 58-65% hydration. Its ingredients must be high quality such as San Marzano tomatoes. You should only use a few ingredients at a time in this type of pizza, while considering the principle of equilibrium between ingredient quantity and flavor dominance. Today is National Deep Dish Pizza Day!! 🍕 We Americans sure love our pizza! On any given day, roughly 13% of Americans are eating pizza that day. If you're a male and are between the ages of 6 and 19, 25% of you eat pizza every day! But deep dish pizza (sometimes referred to as "Chicago Style") is unique; today on National Deep Dish Pizza Day we celebrate all of its thick, gooey deliciousness. Deep dish pizza was, of course, invented in Chicago at the pizzeria that would become Pizzeria Uno. Because of the extended time this pie takes to bake, it is prepared backwards: cheese first, then toppings, then sauce to cover it all. By making it this way the cheese won't overly brown. Did you know that Americans eat about 100 acres of pizza daily? Or that the largest pizza ever made weighed a whopping 26,833 pounds and measured 122' 8" in diameter?😲 🍕 So celebrate the day with ordering a deep dish pizza today from your favorite pizzeria. If you don't have a favorite pizza place, make your own pie at home! Enjoy! #NationalDeepDishPizzaDay #pizza

Hello friends family and acquaintances today is NATIONAL CHEESE PIZZA DAY - September 5! On September 5th, National Cheese Pizza Day says, "Hold the toppings!" That's right, cheese is all you need when celebrating this pizza holiday. Whether the pie is homemade or ordered in, make it cheese only. Add a variety of cheeses to your pie to celebrate. Smokey gouda or a little gorgonzola might mix it up. If you like a little cheddar, mild or sharp shredded across the top will do. Debates prevail over thin or thick crust. However, that debate is for another day. The cheese holds the spotlight on this occasion. We do know a few things about pizza in general, though. In ancient Greece, they covered their bread with oils, herbs and cheese. Many believe this to be the beginning of the pizza. In Byzantine Greek the word was spelled πίτα, or pita, meaning pie. The Romans also developed a version of the pizza pie. Using bay leaves for flavoring, the Romans topped the dough with cheese and honey. When it comes to the modern pizza, we turn to Italy. Their Neapolitan flatbread created the beginnings of the pizza we know and love today. It was topped with mozzarella cheese made from high-quality buffalo milk. In the United States, we love our pizzas, especially cheese pizza. In 1997, it's estimated the United States produced more than 2 billion pounds of pizza cheese. That's a lot of cheese! Our passion for pizza began in 1905 when the first pizza eaty oped in New York's Little Italy. It's been a cheese love affair ever since. #National Cheese Pizza Day #dallasharristips

Parmesan garlic pizza rolls Ingredients 25 frozen pizza rolls ¼ cup (57 g) unsalted butter, melted ¼ cup (25 g) grated parmesan cheese 1 clove garlic, finely minced 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning Instructions Pour enough vegetable oil in pan to submerge pizza rolls. This level will vary depending on the type of pan you use, but we use a sauce pan. Heat oil in a saucepan over medium high heat until ready to fry. Deep fry pizza rolls in oil for 3 minutes. Carefully remove with a slotted spoon and drain excess grease on paper towel. Once grease is drained, add cooked pizza rolls into a large bowl and set aside. In a separate smaller bowl, combine melted butter and minced garlic and stir. Drizzle garlic butter over fried pizza rolls and stir to coat all sides. Generously smother pizza rolls with grated Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle a bit of dried basil or parsley seasoning. Mix well one more time (spatula works well). Serve Garlic Parmesan Pizza Rolls immediately, while hot and crispy.

So whether they like 'em big or small, we've got the right base to please any crowd. Curious? Head over to our website or give us a call to learn more.
