Twelve months ago we caught up with Adam Townsend and Lyndal Bailey, two of the three founders of new tech business venture. Bike Matrix Ltd sounded pretty darn cool, not to mention inspiring (you can still find the story on RotoruaNZ.com). Recently Adam, Lyndal and third founder Adam Barnes got in touch with us again with exciting news: they’ve received a $2M investment via silent contribution from within the bicycle industry, which they say, “brings invaluable market validation, experience, and expertise from a seasoned industry insider.” The team’s success at Eurobike 2024, the world’s largest bicycle industry trade event, including winning a Eurobike Award, highlights the strong industry support for Bike Matrix’s compatibility solution. These results not only validate the groundbreaking nature of Bike Matrix’s technology but also brings international attention to Rotorua’s tech scene. Read more on Mai Rotorua about how Lyndal and the two Adams plan to revolutionise the bike industry globally. #RotoruaNZ #RotoruaProud #MaiRotorua #OurPeople #Community #TellingOurStories #LocalHeroes #RotoruaEntrepreneurs #RotoruaBusiness #TechStartUp
