If you’re a wine lover and thinking about storage, you might wonder how deep a wine cellar should be. The depth of a cellar can impact both how much wine you can store and how well it’s preserved. We offer three standard depths: 🍷 2.0 meters deep – holds about 1,000 bottles 🍷 2.5 meters deep – holds around 1,400 bottles 🍷 3.0 meters deep – holds up to 1,700 bottles A deeper cellar doesn’t just give you more storage—it also helps keep the temperature steady, which is important for keeping your wine in great condition. If you’ve ever thought about adding a wine cellar to your home, or just want to know more about the process, drop me a DM. #WineStorage #WineCellarDesign #WineLovers #WineCollectors #CellarConstruction #InteriorDesign #LuxuryLiving #WineEnthusiast

What's the difference between Multi-Zone, Dual-Zone, and Mono-Zone wine cabinets? 🤔 🍇 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗼-𝗭𝗼𝗻𝗲: These wine coolers maintain a single, consistent temperature throughout the unit, perfect for storing one type of wine, like reds or whites. 🍷 𝗗𝘂𝗮𝗹-𝗭𝗼𝗻𝗲: With two separate temperature zones, dual-zone coolers allow you to keep both red and white wines at their ideal temperatures, all in one cooler. 🥂 𝗠𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶-𝗭𝗼𝗻𝗲: Offering three or more temperature zones, multi-zone coolers let you store a variety of wines, each at its optimal serving temperature, within a single cabinet. ✳ 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲: https://lnkd.in/ejyggMCJ #Vestfrost #VestfrostFoodserviceUK #VestfrostWINE #WineStorage #WineCabinet #HospitalityIndustry

Company dVine's stated purpose is to increase consumption of wine by the glass in restaurants and hotels, but I see another possible use. This handy wine dispenser (shown in the US at CES 2017) and its wine flasks could be a great solution for wine storage on board a yacht - no need to stabilize wine coolers and keep using power to maintain them at the right temperature - and perfect for charters to satisfy varied tastes. Plus it’s a great conversation piece. Since its debut, the company shifted from marketing to individuals to professional institutions. I encountered dVine's wine dispenser, designed by Constance Guisset, at the Sofitel Thalassa in Quiberon, France, where the sommelier and servers proudly put forth the inventor's Brittany background. Each flask has a chip on it, which tells the wine dispenser what the right temperature is for the particular wine (dVine - or D-Vine, which started as 10Vins, now has more than 100 fine wines to offer). The dispenser also aerates the wine for the perfect taste, although I must confess wine taster Mark Gauert did not adore his glass of a St. Emilion (could have been the year). What do you think? #superyacht #finewine #innovation #design #bytheglass

Not sure if I’ve let you in on this little gem, but my other half and I own a winery in the beautiful Prince Edward County. Let’s talk about the magic of barreling white wines, shall we? It's like giving wine a spa treatment—except in oak barrels, and what comes out is even better than what went in. Barreling white wine isn’t just a process; it’s an art. When you let white wine snuggle up in oak, it does something truly fabulous. The oak not only whispers sweet nothings to the wine but imparts complex flavors that turn a simple sip into a symphony. We're talking hints of vanilla, a touch of spice, and if the wine's been really soaking it all in, a whisper of toasted almond. And let’s talk body. Barreling gives white wine a richer, more voluptuous texture. You know that silky, creamy feel that makes your palate swoon? That’s the barrel working its magic. The wine goes in young and spirited and comes out wise, rounded, and oh-so-smooth. Visually? It’s like watching the glow-up of the century. Barreled whites can take on a gorgeous golden hue that promises opulence before you even take your first sip. So next time you pour yourself a glass of barreled white, remember, you’re not just drinking wine, you're experiencing a masterpiece sculpted by time and oak. Cheers to that, right? 📍@traynorvineyard #BarreledWhites #WineTransformation #OakAgedWine #WineLovers #TasteTheOak #WhiteWineWonder #VineyardLife #WineConnoisseur #LuxurySips #WineAging

Does Your Wine Glass Matter? Ever wondered if the shape and size of your wine glass affects your drinking experience? The answer might surprise you. The right glass can transform your wine tasting journey. Let's dive into why. 🍷Red Wines: These glasses boast a wider bowl, enhancing swirling and allowing the wine to breathe, unlocking its full potential. 🍷White Wines: With a narrower design, white wine glasses emphasize the wine's crispness, fruitiness, and freshness. 🍷Sparkling Wines: Traditionally served in flutes, their slender shape preserves the effervescence. However, a white wine glass can also be a great alternative for a richer experience. Choosing the right glass is an art in itself. Do you have a go-to wine glass? How BIG is your collection? Do you have a few bottles, or are you a serious collector? Remember, it’s not about the size; it’s how you handle what you’ve got. 😄 Organising your wines effectively means you’ll spend less time searching and more time enjoying them. 🍾 Here are a few tips on how to organise your collection effectively. ➡Categorise your wines Decide how to organise your collection. You can sort by varietal, like Cabernet or Chardonnay, region, such as French or Italian, or type, including reds, whites, and sparklings. ➡Label your bottles Use clear labels to save time when searching for specific wines. A simple colour-coding system—like green for whites and red for reds—can help you quickly locate what you need. ➡Choose the right storage solution If you don't have a wine cellar, then invest in a good wine rack or a stylish wine wall to keep your bottles organised and accessible. Storing cork-sealed bottles horizontally helps maintain moisture in the cork, preserving the wine. ➡Review your collection regularly Conduct an inventory every few months to keep track of what you have. This ensures that older wines don’t get forgotten. How do you currently keep your wines organised? #WineCollection #WineLovers #WineStorage #WineOrganisation #WineTips
