I'd like to urge everyone in media and broadcast technology to spare a few minutes and share your experiences and views on the state of diversity in our industry. It's the second year we're running research with Rise, meaning we can track how perceptions of diversity, and the experiences of women and minorities, are changing. I fear there's a risk that the progress made in creating a more diverse and welcoming industry, one that better reflects the global audiences actually consuming our content, could stutter as media companies and their tech suppliers face tougher market conditions and reduce hiring. We're underway with some of our most important research of the year as we partner again with Rise to assess the current state of diversity in the broadcast and media technology industry – and we need your help. Last year our groundbreaking research revealed how: ➡️ Women represent only 12% of technology vendor CEOs ➡️ Women are not promoted at the same rate as their male counterparts ➡️ Vendors that are more diverse report a higher revenue-per-employee than those who are less diverse ➡️ Women frequently face bias and harassment, with trade shows particularly problematic How will things have changed this year? Please spare us 10 minutes to take part in this important survey. Whether you're a woman or man, feel you're in the minority or majority in your organisation, a diversity champion or not sure what DEI stands for, we want to hear from you. Results will be released at the Rise Awards in London on 19 November. Survey link below, and if you want to catch up with last year's research, you can download the report on the Caretta Research website now. https://lnkd.in/eAuNZ5BJ
