The GNWS is dedicated to make the world more equal for women and children and stop gender-based violence. However, many women's organizations like ours need more support to reach our goals. 📢 This message is important: we need to advocate for increased funding of feminist movements and women's rights organizations. We are excited to announce Registration and Call for abstracts are now open for the 5th World Conference of Women's Shelters (5WCWS), to be held in Sydney 15-18 September 2025. Over 1000+ delegates from 100+ countries are expected to attend in Sydney. Once again bringing together delegates and presenters from all over the world to share wisdom and approaches to ending gender-based violence. There will be something for every delegate and region, coming together to share research and practice, and to build connections and networks across the continuum from prevention, early intervention, response and recovery.
