Many of our Members are leading the way in terms of developing best practice across the early careers space and we get to celebrate and showcase that practice! Severn Trent are a great employer, breaking down barriers and creating quality, inclusive pathways for young people! With a stubborn youth unemployment challenge and young people telling us they do not feel they will find a good job where they live (only 10% of young people think they can!!). It is crucial we adapt and evolve our approaches to youth employment. Youth Employment UK Membership exists to firstly recognise those employers that are doing good things (we have the badge!!) and then to help employers access the resources, case studies and evidence that they can use to develop their own practice. Importantly Membership also does one more thing, as a not for profit we use our income to put back, ensuring we are helping all young people across the UK with our work!
