Riela Yachts’ Post

⚓ NEW REGULATION UPDATE From 2nd September, 2024, all non-EU crew arriving in Barcelona must have a seaman’s discharge book to be stamped out of the Schengen Zone and onto their vessel. Employment contracts or letters will no longer be accepted as proof of seafarer status. This regulation is already being enforced in other Spanish ports, so we recommend directing any questions you have to your local agent. These changes are part of stricter port controls in response to increased yacht traffic brought by the America's Cup, similar to measures introduced earlier this year in Palma, Mallorca. #RielaYachts #NewMaritimeRegulation #SuperYachtIndustry
