Important to note that just because one hospital in Gaza may have been sheltering Hamas terrorists intent on destroying Israel, this does not give the IDF the right to bomb every hospital in Gaza and Lebanon, where citizens injured by indiscriminate IDF bombing require medical care. Hospitals should never be military targets. Nor schools, nor churches, mosques; military targets need to be real military targets. Clearly the IDF has made a habit of blurring the line between military targets and those suspected of perhaps harbouring the military.
🚨 Breaking: BBC does journalism, reveal Israel's lies. BBC team visits the hospital Israel plans to bomb and find: there is nothing there but a hospital. Kudos to these Irish journalists risking their lives in order to save lives. If BBC only did their job earlier, they could have stopped the genocide. It would made it impossible for UK government to provide arms and diplomatic cover. Israel: "Where is the bunker located? Directly under Al-Sahel Hospital in the heart of the of Beirut." (2.4 million people live in Beirut) BBC: "The morgue was opened up, all of the drawers were opened to show us there was nothing inside. Doctors have been opening piles of surgical scrubs, boxes of equipment, very keen to show us everything there is to see and to prove that there is nothing here." Silence is not an option after the devastation of the Palestinian press corps during this war. Leaders from the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) joined dozens of attendees at the International Journalism Festival in Perugia, Italy in a moment of silence and solidarity with journalists in Gaza. CPJ is grateful that so many participated to let Palestinian journalists know they are not alone. We stand together in solidarity. #NotATarget
