Event being set up here but don’t forget about local bars when looking to host an event. They usually have food available at the venues and access to all the drinks you might need. Usually, a buyout is required for a charity event, but on week nights, excluding Friday, you can rent the space for a fairly reasonable price. @wastedgrainscottsdale #eventplanner #eventplanningaz #eventplanning #eventplanningtips #corporateevents #corporateplanner #corporateplanning #weddingplanning #weddingplanner #eventtips #drinks #eventcocktails #workconference #businessconference #weddingsandevents #businessmeetings

Ever wondered how events help to bring communities together? One typical example is the Thousand Oaks Rotary #Carnival & #Food #Festival, due to take place on 20 October 2024. More than just a weekend of fun and food, events like these play a crucial role in building community cohesion. They create a space where people from all walks of life can come together, share experiences, and celebrate what makes their community unique. In today’s fast-paced world, where people are often disconnected, local events foster a sense of belonging and connection that’s more important than ever. The Thousand Oaks Rotary Carnival & Food Festival, for example, is more than just rides and great food—it’s an opportunity for neighbours to meet, local businesses to thrive, and for everyone to contribute to a shared sense of identity. These events also provide a platform for local causes, charities, and organisations to raise awareness and support, reinforcing the idea that we are all part of something bigger than ourselves. By participating in and supporting local events, we strengthen the bonds that hold our communities together. So, do you think events like the Thousand Oaks Rotary Carnival & Food Festival are key to building a more connected and cohesive community? #announcements • #community • #belonging • #looct24

When I'm not helping businesses with their online presence, I'm volunteering with numerous charities and community groups. Currently, I'm busy planning our next selection of events: Checkley Parish Food and Paws Fest in August, Great Wood Hall's Social Fridays, and Great Wood Hall's Craft Fayre. Plus, I'm already preparing for the Halloween and Christmas events! Organising these events involves a lot of hard work and dedication. From brainstorming ideas to managing logistics, the effort that goes into making these events successful is immense. As someone deeply involved in community work, I understand the struggles and the rewards that come with it. Whether it's coordinating with vendors, managing volunteers, or promoting the event, each task requires careful planning and execution. But despite the challenges, seeing the community come together and enjoy these events makes it all worthwhile. If you’re part of a charity or community group and need help with planning your events, managing your online presence, or increasing your outreach, I’m here to support you. Reach out to me for help – I'd love to assist you. #CommunityEngagement #EventPlanning #CharitySupport #CommunityGroups #OnlineBusinessManager #CheckleyParish #GreatWoodHall #Volunteering #EventOrganising #MakingADifference

The domesticated common house chair, also known as a chair, can be one your greatest allies when it comes to the success of your fundraising event. HOW? We know that when people are sitting, facing the direction of the fundraising experience, you increase the chances of those people giving during the fundraising portion of the event. People who are sitting are typically more focused, more attentive, more comfortable, and more connected to what you are saying from the stage. And the more people are connected the more likely it is for them to be moved to give. Seating can vary based on the event, the venue, and what type of experience you are trying to create but best practices show us that having chairs at your event is important, so get as many tushies into those chairs as you can during your fundraising event. Become chair aware and increase guest engagement and experience, which will ultimately increase giving at your next event. #FundraisingSuccess #emcee #benefitauctioneer #partnerinfundraising #EventPlanning #EngageAndConnect #AuctioneerLife #MCDebbieScheer #ElevateExperiences #CharitableGiving #SitDownForACause #RaiseMoreGiveMore #EventSeating #FundraisingTips #NonprofitSupport #ChairAware #femcee
