Regional Growth Partnership’s Post

Great news for Toledo and the automotive industry! The U.S. Department of Energy has awarded $32.6 million to support the production of the Jeep Gladiator plug-in hybrid. This funding will enable American Autoparts and Mobis North America to build a new battery plant and convert a chassis assembly plant at the Stellantis Toledo Assembly Complex. This strategic investment will retain 345 jobs, create 223 new ones, and drive forward a $1.7 billion initiative to convert auto facilities to electric vehicle production. It’s a significant boost for our local economy and the green economy. Learn more here: https://ow.ly/cy5A50SAGIQ
