DATA ✨ It is everywhere and makes up so much of our day to day lives! 🛍 How many times have you gone to buy something but use insights provided to make a decision on whether it's right for you or not? 💳 How many times have you looked at taking our insurance or a financial product but use comparison sites to pull together the best deals? 🥕 How many times have you gone to do your weekly food shop but checked your loyalty card to see if you can get products cheaper for being a member? 🌟 Excited to share that I completed my first internship! 🌟 During my internship, I worked on two key projects for CRM: 1. Developed a customer prediction model that provides real-time predictions by training each time new data is added to our MongoDB database, helping to anticipate client needs and support data-driven decisions. 2. Created a tool that generates a list of sales agents based on product names, with a predictive close value estimating the likelihood of successful deal closures. Through this experience, I gained valuable insights into both technical work and the day-to-day operations of a company. Working in an office environment gave me a firsthand understanding of team collaboration, project workflows, and how different roles come together to drive success. I’m grateful for the support and guidance from my mentors and colleagues, which made this experience both productive and enjoyable. What I have personally observed during my journey of learning data analytics is that it is easier to learn than to implement and the best learning you can get is only through implementation, no matter how many certifications you have. Your skillset will only be refined through the projects you do by hand. The mistakes you make during those projects will teach you the most invaluable lessons. The more you get stuck while trying to achieve something, the better the way you will find to achieve it. After projects, the next step should be to get an internship and enter the market, even if you think you're not ready yet. You can never be 100% ready to enter any market. You just need good hands-on practice and a passion to continuously upgrade yourself and adapt to changing trends.
