In today's job market, it's often perceived that companies hold all the power in the hiring process. However, my experience has taught me that being selective about the company I choose to work for is equally important. Throughout my career, I've learned that the right fit is not just about the skills and qualifications I bring to the table, but also about the company's culture, values, and vision. It's about finding a place where I can grow, be challenged, and feel valued. I've realized that when I am picky about the company I join, I end up in roles that are more fulfilling and align better with my professional goals. It’s not just about landing a job; it's about finding a workplace where I can truly thrive and contribute meaningfully. So, to all job seekers out there: remember that the hiring process is a two-way street. Evaluate potential employers just as they evaluate you. Your career journey deserves a destination where both you and the company can succeed together. #JobSearch #CareerAdvice #ProfessionalGrowth #WorkCulture

As a Recruiter I spend my days speaking to people about their jobs and more often than you might think I speak to people who love 💛 their job yet are considering a change. It’s tough, but sometimes it’s the right move. Here are some reasons why people might make that choice: 1. New Challenges: Seeking growth outside their comfort zone. 2. Skill Development: Pursuing roles that offer new learning opportunities. 3. New Experiences: Wanting different work environments or cultures. 4. Personal Life: Changes in location, family, or lifestyle needs. 5. Better Salary: Seeking higher-paying opportunities. 6. Health: Prioritising physical or mental well-being. 7. Future Prospects: Considering long-term career goals. Leaving isn’t always about dissatisfaction; it’s about growth and change. Please check out our open roles if you’re considering making a career move. #HRRecruitment #CareerAdvice #JobChange #ProfessionalGrowth https://lnkd.in/eKhb-SJM

As a recruiter, I often see that the decision to switch jobs is far more personal than we tend to admit. It’s not always about a contract ending or an unexpected redundancy—it’s often a deeper journey of self-reflection. Majority of the candidates I speak with are listening to that inner voice telling them there’s something more out there. Their job search isn’t just about finding the next landing spot to pay the bills; it’s about pursuing greater fulfillment, growth, and alignment with their personal values. If you're considering a career change, ask yourself: 💡 Am I still learning and developing? 💡 Does my workplace offer a supportive environment? 💡 Is this role helping me achieve my long-term goals? (personally and or professionally) 💡 How is my mental and physical health impacted by my work? 💡 Am I truly satisfied at work, or just showing up out of habit? 💡 Do I feel valued for my contributions? 💡 Is there room for advancement, or have I reached a plateau? 💡 Am I excited about where the company is headed, or do I feel disconnected from its future? Taking time to evaluate these questions can provide the clarity needed to make an informed decision about the next step in your career. If you find yourself already counting down to the minutes to the weekend on a Monday morning... it could be a sign that it’s time to explore new opportunities... 🔎 #NewOpportunities #JobSearch #GrowthMindset #CareerJourney #FinanceOne

As recruiters, we often speak about connecting talent with opportunity, but it’s moments like these that remind us of the deeper impact we can have on someone’s life. I recently received this message from a candidate: "Dear Henda, Thank you so much for finding me my dream job. It is challenging and exciting. It's a stimulating and very flexible environment...exactly what I have been looking for. I have learned more in the 2 weeks with them than what I have learned in the past 2 years. They are very open and welcoming. Thank you again." Reading this brought such joy to my heart. It’s not just about filling a position; it’s about helping someone find a place where they can thrive, grow, and truly belong. To all my fellow recruiters and hiring managers—this is why we do what we do. Behind every CV is a person with dreams, aspirations, and untapped potential. By aligning their skills and passion with the right company, we don't just fill roles; we transform lives. To all candidates out there—never stop believing in your potential. The right opportunity is out there waiting for you, and it might just be closer than you think. Let’s continue creating futures, one placement at a time. 💼✨ #RecruitmentWithHeart #DreamJob #LifeChangingOpportunities #Gratitude

To all the job seekers and recruiters in my network, this is a tough season for many, but it’s also a time for growth, creativity, and compassion. For the job seekers: I know this journey can feel overwhelming at times, but don’t lose hope. Every setback, every obstacle serves a purpose, shaping you for what’s ahead. One day, everything will make sense, and you’ll see how these moments pushed you toward your next opportunity. In the meantime, be bold in how you approach your job search. Think outside the box. Let your resume tell your story, not just list your experiences. Be creative and authentic. You are more than your qualifications. Showcase your passion and unique perspective. For the recruiters and hiring managers: With layoffs and economic shifts affecting so many, this is a time for sensitivity and creativity in the hiring process. A little kindness and understanding can go a long way. The business landscape is changing, and in the rush to find the “perfect candidate,” let’s not overlook incredible talent. The truth is, the perfect candidate doesn’t exist. Skills can be taught in weeks or months, but passion, attitude, and the desire to learn are traits that come with the person. Don’t miss out on the potential right in front of you while chasing an ideal that may never materialize. Together, let’s rise above the challenges of this season and create opportunities that build both careers and companies. #JobSeekers #CreativeCareers #RecruitmentWithHeart #GrowthMindset #Leadership #InnovationInHiring

Hello LinkedIn Family, I’m back with Part 8 of my recruitment series, and today I want to talk about something powerful: Part 8: The Power of Saying “No” Protect Your Value: Saying “no” to opportunities that don’t align with your goals helps you focus on what truly matters. Prioritize Quality: Turn down roles or tasks that don’t fully utilize your skills. It’s about finding the right fit, not just any fit. Set Boundaries: Saying “no” establishes professional boundaries and shows you value a healthy work-life balance. Open Doors to Better Opportunities: Sometimes, the best opportunities come after you’ve said “no” to the wrong ones. Saying “no” isn’t about closing doors—it’s about opening the right ones. Have you ever turned down an opportunity and found it led to something better? Share your stories in the comments! #JobSearch #CareerGrowth #NicholasRecruitmentSeries #CareerSuccess #ThePowerOfNo
