DCI Solutions Skillbridge Review ⭐️ ⭐️ Rating 2.0 / 5 Review by anonymous: “If you are looking for an internship where you learn very little, and are ok with mundane task this is the place for you. If you are actually trying to learn a transitioning job traits, and expect this company to help you this is not the company for you. There are great people at this small business like Crissy, Kristin, Angela and Ted who actually teach you. Unfortunately the upper leadership of this company who is also a veteran has lost the purpose and intent of the skill bridge internship. Christopher and Caedan just look at you as FREE LABOR and don’t think they should take time out of their busy schedule to help you with interview prep or teaching you any tangible traits to help you transition . This is a recruiting company and that’s what you will do as an intern.” See the full review here : https://lnkd.in/gxr9spf7 🚨 Make sure to follow us for more reviews! #skillbridge #dodskillbridge #skillbridgeprogram #militarytransition #transitioningmilitary

First nudge-nudge, then wink-wink. Top 500 companies are “nudged” to provide internships to 10000000 youth in 5 years. That is 4000 internships in a year per company, while total average number of employees in these companies is under 15000! Truly a masterclass in fixing #unemployment

Honest question for the strength coach community: When every job you see wants 3-5 years experience and previous entry level positions turn you down after you've done 2 internships, have references from a strength coach of the year as well as others you've worked closely with, and the Master's degree how are you supposed to get that 3-5 years if you can't even get 1? #strengthandconditioning

I'd like to share an achievement from my virtual internship program in 2024 at IIDE - The Digital School. Recently, I attended a Masterclass Webinar on Resume building. The entire internship program has been incredibly engaging, and I've been learning so much. #certificate #digitalmarketing #resumebuilding #onlineclass #masterclass #iide

Just crushed the pre-experience building session for Internship Experience UK 2024! Huge thanks to Amberjack Global for equipping us with the power of storytelling. Here are some key takeaways that will help me rock the interview stage: From Experience to Narrative: We learned how to transform our experiences, even if they seem unrelated, into compelling stories that showcase our skills and value. This is a game-changer! Structure is Key: They provided a clear framework for structuring our stories, ensuring they are concise, impactful, and highlight the transferable skills relevant to the internship. Confidence Boost: Learning to craft engaging narratives not only strengthens our applications but also boosts our interview confidence. Feeling super prepared for IEUK and excited to connect with other talented attendees! #IEUK2024 #CareerGoals #Storytelling Who else attended the pre-experience building sessions? Share your biggest takeaways in the comments!

🎓 In class, it's all about perfect theory. In your internship? You learn that client meetings, team dynamics, and real-world problem-solving matter just as much! Loved ❤️ 🖤 hearing Tayllar Clark's candid take on her summer internship, where classroom concepts met reality! Her biggest lesson ➡️ skills open the door, but people skills help you thrive! 💡 🎥 Watch the full interview on my YouTube channel: http://bit.ly/49B0pBB 📱 Follow me on TikTok @CareerSuccessProf for student success stories! Nathan Weaver offers Episode 4: The Role of an Intern While the role and structure of an internship program differs between workplaces, there are certain concepts of internships which persist among young professionals as they near graduation. While internships are meant to be a hands-on learning experience, many interns report having done busy work, tasks with low stakes, and getting coffee for higher-ups. This is the experience I expected when beginning my first 12-week Internship with NCS Partners. I could not have been more wrong! The environment was one of curiosity and acceptance, with a willingness to let me learn. There were of course stripes to be earned, but those humbling learning opportunities opened the door for new opportunities. Most notably, when the intern team was able to visit a distribution center for a system go-live, it was abundantly clear, that we had no idea what was going on. However, after a few days on site, we can now look back on that trip as a worthwhile hands-on experience. We were given important tasks to support the engineers during the implementation. Experiencing the energy, the level of detail and knowledge of a real enterprise supply chain integration proved so valuable in my work and summarizes to me, what the core of an internship should be. At a time when the quest for internships is cutthroat, the environment and opportunity a company provides to their intern team is crucial to recruit the strongest talent. https://lnkd.in/dhQPqv6 # #NCSPINTERNS #EARNYOURSTRIPES #VOICEOFTHEROOKIE #JOBMARKET

Did you know that 80% of employers rank internships as one of the best ROI's for recruiting and talent development (NACE survey)? Internships provide fresh talent for your company and hands-on learning experience for the intern—its a win-win situation! For example, on my third day at my internship with Valley Internship Experience Workgroup, I was given the opportunity to hone my networking and public speaking skills with local business owners at a small business resource fair. #virginiainternday #VID #JMUinterns #VTOPinterns #VID2024 #VirginiaInternDay2024 #NationalInternDay
