An artist, a warrior and a poet rebalance the economy...   In the last 12 months I sold my shares in a business, and bumped into a dude in New York. We bonded over a regrettable fact: that the world is balanced toward the extractors of value, not the creators of value. Think about it: - Spotify (Ai generated music in the playlists) - TikTok (your kids focus and attention) - VCs (your cap table) So me (an artist), Tom (a warrior) and Kemp (a poet) set out on a mission. To do our bit. We want to shift power away from the value extractor, predatory finance, unreasonable corporates, slick middlemen spreadsheet jockeys. Towards the value creator, the innovator, creator, entrepreneur. We feel this mission in our bones: Tom built $38m ARR in 4 years for his 600-person tech startup - but was shorted $60m by his investors and investment bank on exit - he wants revenge Kemp founded Tucker Capital and can track every deal he has done - for brands like National Geographic – to a Counterpart I consecutively bootstrapped two 7-figure global creative and digital businesses - and value creative freedom above all...    Tom is a warrior. He spent a decade in the Army. Kicking down doors.   Kemp is a poet. He intuits people’s motivations a mile away. They own a boutique investment bank in the Big Apple. I am artist. I dropped out of art school for real - and create in real time, all the time. I am building a growth program - with these guys - for people that want to make massive impact, and make massive money. What a load of bullshit. I’ve made no secret of my complete disrespect for this man, but let’s dissect his latest high profile interview like the owl pellet it is: “We built a global brand, we had over 10,000 employees who were so passionate about it…and almost everything we did have everything to do with community.” So is “community” why most of those 10,000 employees were left high and dry while Neumann had one the biggest golden parachutes ever?! “I am the kind of person who actually learns more from their mistakes than their successes.” I am sure that is true. But that’s just basic probability, when your mistakes outnumber your successes by so many orders of magnitude, that is always going to be the case. “It’s one thing to have investors giving advice, it’s another to have entrepreneurs who you consider peers.” FFS Mark Anderseen help create the internet, you haven’t truly built anything lasting. Masayoshi Son was always more of a peer as you both have held records for largest value destruction in short amount of time. “It’s more about coming to your higher self…between you and yourself, your neighbor, and the world.” To borrow from Scott Galloway: Who is still buying this Yogababble nonsense? “We’ve actually lowered churn” You’ve been in business for two years, I shouldn’t have to explain that most residential leases are longer than that, but Adam has demonstrated plenty of times he doesn’t understand basic math, so here we are. Stop giving this guy airtime, stop giving this guy credibility, and stop giving this guy money.
