Hey, you remember my story intro yesternight, So let me give you the proper gist👇👇 So, I and my team registered for the Hack4Futo competition a month back where we were tasked to build an innovative solution targeted to any of the SDGs. The first stage of the competition was meant to screen out 13 participants. We had started the competition with 19 teams on board but the only needed 6 teams to the finals. I was scared, and excited at the same time 😕. I didn't completely know how to feel especially when the screening date was getting closer. I immediately went ahead to present my ideas to ideal mentors of mine, all thanks to Orakwe John, MBA who gave me strong hope that building towards Ai agent is a scalable market, so I should continue. We kept pushing until the preliminaries result was our with Team Spark Agent emerging 2nd position and fast forward to the event period 👇👇 It's one thing to qualify, it's another thing to win. We knew we had to double our effort seconding the fact that in a way to push us up my friend Success Ihekwoaba acted as a spy to tell us our effortlessly our opponents were working, so we should step up if we must win. Long story cut short, we stepped up by bring up more innovations and hard work. The sad part of the story 😭😭 We had completed our MVP a day before the pitch day when our API demo token was exhausted, 😔 tired and frustrated we managed to pitch with a recorded operation, and all thanks to God that our judges were impressed. The gave their overall feedback and applauds and finally I want to give all thanks to God, my most appreciation to Ebuka and Ferdinand my team guys, they are the best i could ask for. Thanks to all who I could not tag that lead to this milestone for us, we promise not to let you all down and most importantly continue to seek your support and guide as we intend not only to make Spark Agent a hackathon winner but a global brand. 🎉 Thrilled to share that my team’s project "RAG Context Refinement Agent" won the Global 500 Award at the RAG-A-Thon hackathon on Oct 13, 2024!🌟 This was my first hackathon, and it was an incredible experience working alongside such talented individuals, including my teammates Eric Saund and Tico Ballagas. Our project tackled a real-world problem by enhancing RAG through the refinement of context from scattered and unstructured sources, such as code repositories. Utilizing tools like LlamaIndex and Pinecone, we developed an AI agent that improves response generation by selecting and refining relevant knowledge from appropriate documentation and repositories through multiple steps, sometimes extending beyond the initial scope to follow links for additional context. This solution enhances the ability to retrieve and refine better context more efficiently from large repositories containing various file types, including code. Our approach proved to be significantly more effective than baseline RAG for enterprise repositories. There are growing efforts to build artificial general intelligence (AGI) and superintelligence (SI). Still, the safety, alignment, and explainability layers are yet to catch up with algorithmic innovation to make it safe to use, explainable, stable, and predictable. Only then can we see a full-scale adoption of AI. Today, we are excited to announce a new, one-of-a-kind group called Safe Superintelligence Club (SSI Club). 🚀 160 Days of Problem Solving - Day 4/160 🚀 Today's challenge focused on rotating an array! This problem strengthened my grasp of array manipulation techniques and highlighted the elegance of in-place transformations. Here's my approach: Used the reversal algorithm for array rotation: Reverse the first part of the array up to d elements. Reverse the remaining part of the array from d to the end. Reverse the entire array to achieve the final rotated form. Ensured an in-place solution, maintaining O(1) space complexity with O(n) time complexity. ✨ Why this matters: This problem underscores the power of simple yet effective algorithms. It's another step forward in mastering efficient problem-solving, paving the way for tackling more complex challenges ahead. Feeling accomplished and ready for the next hurdle in the journey.
