The human touch in B2B marketing matters more than you realise. We recently conducted an experiment to understand the impact of adding a human element into a LinkedIn B2B campaign. We wanted to understand the view rate on ads from an actual persons profile, vs ads from a brand account. We created a thought leadership, targeted towards marketing decision makers. The results were impressive: There was a 77% increase in view rate compared to the same ad from the brand account Additionally, we was an impressive 81% increase in CTR. These results support our theory that B2B ads perform better, when you add the human element. Whether that is by speaking to the human within your ad copy, acknowledging their pain points within the creative, or creating ads from a personal account.
