"Perspective-based content" is the new SEO hack. Helping to expand the sphere of knowledge on a topic relevant to your brand - in a way that Google anticipates, is the way to rank. Conversations rank highly as unique content, the opposite of AI + consensus-based content. In other words: talk about it! And where could that be more powerful and sharable that in video format?! That's my perspective on the main take-aways from this great webinar on ranking in the new Google results. What that means to me is that you can stand out and rank higher by consistently releasing video conversations with your take on the issues your audience cares most about and that are relevant to your brand. As I recently finished the content marketing research course in CXL, I want to share one of the most important questions you must ask yourself while writing your blog strategies. "what can you answer that others don't?" While Answering this question, Consider leveraging your site's expertise to create indispensable content for your audience. The ideal approach is to select content that is essential for your audience but challenging to find elsewhere. This course mentioned "Need to know and hard to find!" content! Narrow down your focus and consider different perspectives. Keep in mind that you have to become the resource that your audience wishes to know you before! Is it best to pull a weekly report for a campaign that's live or bi-weekly report? I personally believe in bi-weekly, I believe it gives the content an opportunity to pick up traction and be viewed by more people. In addition to that, it gives you time to develop ways to optimise on your content that is yet to live.
