What motivates you? PxEx3S This was the question that we explored at the #InternationalschoolTelemark back in February. The day followed Jim Kwik´s model for motivation PxEx3S, from his book Limitless. Purpose, Energy and Small Simple Steps We started by looking at our personal stories, identifying Strengths and Values. We then discussed what brought us into teaching, identifying the external and internal drivers. We then analysed the role of a teacher, looking at what energises and drains us and how to ensure that the positive is greater than the negative. After lunch we discussed how to optimise our performance, with a quick look at flow, before breaking into small peer coaching sessions to help each other develop the small simple steps forward.
