🌍 Reflecting on our sustainability journey, we're thrilled to share our remarkable progress over the past four years at IMI Hydronic Engineering. Here’s a snapshot of our achievements: Energy Efficiency: Reduced total energy consumption by over 5M kWh (-9.7%) since 2019, driven by efficiency projects. Increased staff hours led to a 16.4% reduction in energy intensity. Emissions Reduction: Achieved a net decrease of 20.3% in CO2e emissions, with a 26.2% reduction in intensity. On track for 50% reduction by 2030 and net zero by 2040. Water Management: Decreased water usage by 6.3% (-13.3% intensity), continuing efforts to minimize impact. Waste Management: Aiming for 100% recyclability by 2025; 99.5% of waste diverted from landfills (53% recycled on-site). Reduced hazardous waste to landfills by 98%. Innovative Initiatives: Installed EV chargers across most sites, self-generated 3.3% of electricity and delivered first EPD documents. Electrified key foundry processes with more innovations planned.
