Since my email account was hacked in 2021, I get at least 50 spam emails a day. 😖 Let's face it: Spam is annoying. And sometimes #marketing emails are annoying, too. But #email is still one of the most common channels of communication between brands and consumers, and between #B2B companies and their partners. So it's important for companies to protect themselves and their audiences from getting spammed. How do they do that? Well, there's more than one way. Recently, two of the largest email providers, Google & Yahoo, installed new anti-spam rules that should make email communication safer. And while this is good news for us as consumers, it can be challenging for businesses to comply with these new rules. How a $4.5 investment reduced our email bounce rate to zero. We noticed an abnormally high bounce rate in one of our recent campaigns. Upon investigation, we discovered that many recipient email addresses were being incorrectly flagged as invalid or undeliverable. To resolve this, we implemented a cost-effective, precision-driven solution that completely eliminated our bounce rate for just $4.5. Here’s how we approached it: 1. Data Enrichment via SalesUP Copilot: We leveraged SalesUP Copilot, our proprietary tool, to aggregate and validate data via a waterfall of 10+ providers, ensuring comprehensive data hygiene from the start. 2. Initial Verification with MillionVerifier: Running these through MillionVerify flagged some addresses as "catchall," which can often lead to false positives. 3. Advanced Filtering through BounceBan (Verify risky emails without sending messages): To ensure precision, we rerouted the catchall emails through BounceBan to extract only verifiable, deliverable addresses, discarding any high-risk contacts. P.S. Smartlead also has new deliverability features that we haven't gotten our hands on yet, eagerly waiting. By refining our email verification pipeline with this layered approach, we reduced our bounce rate to zero for this campaign—ensuring that every email sent reached its intended inbox. The Result?
