GenAI truly can be an accelerator and partner for entrepreneurs in all walks of life. While I spend much of my professional life dedicated to the customers at GoDaddy I also find time to be an entrepreneur helping run a number of business with my wife ranging from vintage luxury fashion, fitness, real estate, and fintech. AI technology has been of great assistance with a number of tasks ranging from the every day deluge of emails to be reviewed, authoring marketing materials for new business ideas, and the analysis of new market potentials. I am no AI expert even though I work in tech. I'm an AI consumer finding ways to use the tech in my day to day entrepreneurial life as a time saver and 'Me' multiplier. The areas I use AI for save me hours a week and become tremendously helpful when I have a bit of writer's block, want a second opinion on a better way to position an idea, or just to double check and validate the mathematics around something is sound. Find ways to use it in your enterprise and I would be surprised if you said it did not help you save time or become more efficient running your business.

The time to ship things is going to drastically drop. I don't mean just small products that can be shipped over a weekend. I'm talking about large, complex SaaS products and entire businesses that can be shipped over a weekend. Some of them will be SLCs (simple, lovable, complete) products, but others can be quite fully featured as well. The reason for this, as many of you have seen, is because AI is permeating everywhere. When it comes to art, there's a lot of argument about intellectual property theft, but when it comes to writing or code, no one's looking at it that way. Another factor is that compute is getting cheaper and cheaper, so more people have access to AI and can start shipping products faster. As a result, building a product has never been easier. However, this leads to an important, pressing problem: a graveyard of dead products that nobody wants. Why? Because it's so easy and fast to ship something, people will be building and shipping more – which seems like a good thing, right? But there is a difference. Just because people build something doesn't mean they will get customers. There's a distinction between a product or a hobby and a business. I have many different ideas in my head that I want to build, but I can't see a way to monetize them. When trying to validate them, they're not feasible enough to be run as a business. A product is something you build, an offer is something you make, and a business is what gets you money to live the life you want. So, what am I doing? It's quite simple: I'm just going to make stuff that people want. I won't be a solution in search of a problem. To improve my odds of success, to increase the chance that I'm not building a product, but a business itself, I'm going to be looking at talking to customers, finding out what they want, and then building it.
