#5G is not just the most advanced mobile technology to date, but also an innovation platform for driving digital transformations of businesses and society. Ericsson has deployed #5GSA for around 50 CSPs globally. With leading technology deployed, our customers are now able to explore the value of performance-based models built on differentiated connectivity and open network infrastructure, for both consumers and enterprises. I'm proud to present four fantastic customer cases from the recently released Ericsson Mobility Report, on how we are leveraging these capabilities with our partners airtel in India, AT&T in the US, Rogers Communications in Canada, and Telia in Sweden – · Two years after launching 5G in India with non-standalone architecture, airtel is now conducting trials for running #5Gstandalone and has chosen to deploy SA in private networks for enterprises. Currently Airtel has multiple projects in different stages across India for steel manufacturing plants, warehouses and the mining industry. · AT&T is in the early stages of leading an industry shift towards an open network. By integrating intelligent programmable capabilities directly within the RAN layer through smart applications (rApps) and a service management and orchestration (SMO) framework, the delivery of optimized network performance and differentiated connectivity is made possible. · Rogers Communications has activated 5G services across the Toronto subway through a neutral host solution, providing connectivity to all users regardless of their service provider. The neutral host solution was deployed in just 3 weeks, bringing reliable and connectivity to commuters, setting the foundation for both consumer applications and public safety use cases. · At AstaZero’s proving ground located outside of Gothenburg, Telia’s 5G innovation program for industrial enterprises NorthStar is enabling a multitude of use case scenarios, including 5G network slicing for automotive applications and active safety systems in realistic traffic environments such as highways, cityscapes and rural areas. 🌟 I just learned that Ericsson and India's premier communications solutions provider have successfully demonstrate mmWave 5G functionality on airtel network! 🌟 Peak speeds of 4.7Gbps were achieved during the testing, demonstrating the applicability of mmWave for high network capacity requirements. 📱 So why is this important? The 5G high-band/mmWave spectrum is a valuable resource when targeting densely populated urban areas with large number of mobile devices, homes, and businesses. 🌐 The high band, above 24 gigahertz offers an opportunity for service providers to offer unprecedented peak rates, low latency, and high capacity. Basically, breakthroughs like this open doors to faster speeds and wider coverage getting us thinking about what this means for the future of connectivity. 📶 #️⃣ #Ericsson #Airtel #BeLimitless #5G #Network #mmWave #Connectivity #Technology #Innovation #TeamEricsoon
