🌍 Today marked another meeting of the Antwerp Dialogue on industrial electrification and competitiveness we are co-leading with Cefic and Eurelectric. We further discussed concrete and actionable policy recommendations on how to preserve existing industrial electrified processes in Europe while further advancing industrial electrification and protecting the competitiveness of the industry. Key topics discussed included State Aid support for industrial electrification, PPAs, carbon leakage protection for existing electrified processes, flexibility, financing grids, taxes, permitting, skills, levies and financing. Only together will we be able to promote sustainable and competitive solutions that will bring down the cost of energy for electrified and soon-to-be electrified industrial processes while accelerating the energy transition by stepping up the production and consumption of decarbonised energy sources for industry. 🔧🌱 #AntwerpDialogue #EuropeanAluminium #Sustainability #Innovation #GreenTransition #IndustryPartnerships

Interesting Read: SBTI have release another wave of companies who've had their #NetZero commitments removed. There's some very large UK businesses on that list, household names and companies you think have a strong sustainability brand. Another example of poor reporting and a lack of standard in decarbonisation strategy. Gone are the days false claiming, you need to get it right. #sustainability #carbonemissions #netzero #decarbonsation #sbti
