Last month, I went on an incredible journey that combined business, personal growth, and an adventure. One of my clients invited me to Vancouver to support her three-day live event, a testament to the power of building strong, value-driven relationships in business.
At the time, I had just begun the 75 Hard Challenge, if you are not familiar it is a rigorous mental and physical discipline program. Balancing this challenge while working the event was no small feat, but it underscored the importance of my vision, resilience and dedication, values that are immense gifts in entrepreneurship. The experience was exhilarating, allowing me to immerse myself in both personal growth and professional engagement.
The event was a resounding success, providing me with the opportunity to support my client and her audience. One of the highlights was her asking me to present leadership skills essential for entrepreneurial success. Presenting and facilitating for her on these topics was not just about imparting knowledge; it was about demonstrating how integrity and the consistent over-delivery of value can elevate a business and how our dreams and vision are all outside the comfort zone box we tend to operate from.
Before the event, I arrived in Vancouver two days early to soak in the city's charm. Visiting Stanley Park and the iconic steam clock, and indulging in a fabulous meal at the Fairmont Hotel by the water, I was reminded of the importance of balance. These moments of exploration and leisure were crucial in rejuvenating my spirit, allowing me to bring my best self to the event.
I am grateful for how I am clear on my vision on running a thriving business. It is a business built on the principles of integrity, continuous value delivery, and authentic relationships. These principles have not only attracted clients but have also positioned me as a thought leader and respected peer in the industry.
