Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) has released the first gaming information security framework, "GLI Gaming Security Framework Module 1 (GLI-GSF-1): Gaming Information Security (GIS) Common Controls Audit," and is seeking comments on the draft. GLI developed the GSF in response to the industry's demand for a comprehensive gaming security framework, leveraging 35 years of industry experience and best practices. The draft is available for industry stakeholders, including regulators, suppliers, test laboratories, security firms, operators, and trade associations, to review and comment on. The comment period, ending on August 31, 2024, focuses on additional common controls specific to the gaming industry. Written comments are encouraged and should be recorded in the comment template linked below and submitted to the “GLI Compliance” mailbox at [email protected]. https://lnkd.in/ghSS9H5H

Check out this new case study in the gaming industry for Digital.ai #Application #Security. Monster Strike is a leading #mobile #game and chose Digital.ai to protect their application for a number of reasons including: - A comprehensive set of protections coupled with continuous threat monitoring and adaptation that help to address the ever evolving threat landscape. - Ease of integration into the Software Development Lifecycle. Application Security should not be a standalone tool, it needs to 'integrate right' into the SOC and 'integrate left' into the CI/CD pipeline. The outcome? A massive reduction in cheating, which has led to the game remaining very popular well over a decade after it was first launched. Interested to understand more?
